Hi Guys
sorry not to write in Italian, i wish i could!
Fixer is not ordinary polish you all know!
Fixer polish , since its 1 step type vary on the pad you use with it. for each surface.
Menz, megs, and 3M are all automatic polishes they just work when put on the pad. Fixer is a thinking polish and takes time to master and understand what the benefits are. Working the polish the wrong way it will bite your butt lol.
fixer will always be a thinking polish as I have explained to other users. It tells you what it requires by how it is behaving on the paint type. You have to learn what fixer wishes you to do. If you choose the wrong option it will fight you back.
no need to use too much polish on the pads, thats for sure.. no need more than 3 beans size on each go. After the pad is primed that is.
dont work on big area as well.
use open cell type of pads !, we tested the Megs yellow pads for hard paint and it was very good. the polish need to break down completely , it takes 1 ~2 min until it does (depend on the area you work on) Fixer is diminishing polish.
you need to work it similar to megs 205. By backing back the pressure and speed towards the end of the set. Also to work in a smaller controlled area with slow hand speed and machine speed. you will get the best from fixer. Providing only uses a small amount. 3 pea sized drops after the first set max.
max speed of around 1100rpm on the rotary
Starting and finishing off at 600. Take your time to build up the rpm so the lubrication becomes active also.......
......always found it better to back up the pressure toward the end of any set as you start to come down in speed.
doing it correctly will show 40~50% less working time compare to any other polish!
there are some videos on youtube which you can all search.
we will have our polishing pads as well soon, which we tested with the polish.
if someone dont understand this , Please translate it Antonio.
